Visar Morina's Exil with a European premiere at Berlinale's Panorama
After its world premiere at Sundance Film Festival, Visar Morina's new feature Exil will have its European premiere at Berlinale Panorama program on February 24, 15:30 at Zoo Palast 1.
The film tells the story of Xhafer, a Kosovo-migrant to Germany, and a chemistry engineer who feels discriminated and harassed in the workplace which plunges him into an identity crisis. Exil is written and directed by Visar Morina, and a co-production of Kosovo (Ikonë Studio), Germany (Komplizen Film) and Belgium (Frakas).
The film is supported by the Kosovo Cinematography Center, Minister of State for Culture and Media, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW, German Federal Film Fund, Belgium Film Tax Shelter, Medienboard Berlin Brandenburg, Eurimages, and German Federal Film Board.

Zana and Flying Circus market premieres at EFM
Kosovo features: Zana by Antoneta Kastrati which premiered at TIFF in September and The Flying Circus by Fatos Berisha premiered at Tallin Black Nights in November, will have their market screenings at EFM.
The Flying Circus is a black comedy based on a true 90s story of a group of Kosovo actors illegally crossing the border between Montenegro and Albania during wartime to attend a theater festival in Tirana.
Zana is a chilling and emotional drama about a young Kosovar woman struggling to reconcile the expectations of motherhood with a legacy of wartime brutality.
The Flying Circus will screen on February 22, 16:10 at Mariott 1.
Zana will screen on February 25, 9:40 at Cinemaxx 13.
